Santa's Ghetto 2007 - Banksy & Co.

During his second trip to Palestine, Banksy once again uses street art on the security wall to make a statement about the West Bank conflict. This time, Banksy also brings along other prominent artists to create a pop-up Christmas gallery across the street from the supposed birthplace of Jesus.

Peace - William Strutt

This 1896 painting by William Strutt quickly became known around the world for its sepia tone reproduction, hanging in many people's homes. The original piece can be seen inside a cathedral in Wales.

Guernica - Pablo Picasso

One of the most famous paintings in history, Picasso's 'Guernica' made its debut at the 1937 Paris World's Fair. It graphically displays the carnage and violence from when the German Luftwaffe, acting in support of the soon-to-be Spanish dictator Francisco Franco, bombed the townspeople of the small Basque city for which the painting is named.

The Wall - Banksy

A series of nine pieces done during a 2005 visit to the occupied West Bank by British street artist Banksy. With the Israeli separation barrier as a canvas, these images are among his most notorious and inherently political work.

Muhammad Ali - Esquire Cover

The cover of Esquire Magazine from April 1968 depicts Muhammad Ali as the martyred St. Sebastian. A striking visual chronicle of the trials and tribulations Ali underwent because of his refusal to fight in Vietnam.
