American Friends of NSWAS Oasis of Peace
The American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat Al-Salam was founded in the 1980s to raise awareness about the projects of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam, the “Oasis of Peace,” a community which encourages dialogue among Palestinians and Jews in Israel. For more than thirty years, Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam has been dedicated to breaking boundaries and resolving peace conflict in the Middle East.

Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam operates a bilingual and multicultural Primary School, the School for Peace, the Pluralistic Spiritual Center, among other projects that foster tolerance and community building.
