Description

Formed in 2002 as an outgrowth of a weekly vigil (co-sponsored with Park Slope Greens) held in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn against the U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. We also were heavily involved in the organizing civil disobedience at the August 2004 Republican National Convention in Manhattan. Current organizing includes actions against the continuing occupation of Iraq, as well as counter-recruitment and war tax resistance issues.
